Great Horned Owl - March 16, 2011 - Rio Grande Nature Center

On April 2, 2011, the two baby owlets appeared for me!

After being out of town for two weeks, when I checked back on April 24,
the nest was empty, so they must have fledged.
Great Horned Owl - March 19, 2011 - Open Space Visitor Center
Another nesting owl located across the river and a little north on 3/19/11.

(4/2/11)
And on April 7, 2011, at least two and probably three, little ones appeared at the Open Space nest!

Sure enough, counting beaks on my return April 24,
there's three little ones, the dominant one clearly close to fledging.
