Included here are pictures of most of the butterflies we saw during our various outings on the trip. They are grouped first by family and then taxonomically following Lamas, 2014. There are a number of them, especially brushfoots and skippers, that as usual I haven't quite figured out, and almost certainly some are misidentified. Hopefully, this page will get updated with changes and corrections as I get more information. Those highlighted in yellow are updates provided by my friend and wonderfully helpful neotropical butterfly expert, Kim Garwood. Since these were originally posted, my British friend and also amazing neotropical butterfly expert, Andrew Neild, identified and corrected those highlighted in orange. Their help is much appreciated.
