Returning to civilization, we took a better-than-expected cruise about Milford Sound before saying goodbye to Yoshiko and riding the bus back to our car (by now christened "Moby"), and back and Te Anau in time for a fabulous (you guessed it) lamb dinner at the Olive Tree Cafe (a great place for breakfast, too!). Took a different route back via Mount Cook and Geraldine in the two days we had to get back to Motueka to meet up with caving friends of Barbara's.
